A "Strong" Dorm Leader Pair!

The Barn has gone through several transitions over the summer...Alicia and Travis were married in June, followed by a beautiful lakeside honeymoon, and Melisa and Michael were married at the end of July, followed by a Thailand adventure for their honeymoon. Though we were sad to say good-bye to Dae Ho as he went off to Law School, we're very excited to welcome our new Dorm Associate, Awa Diop, to the Barn. She'll be teaching languages at CSW this year, and we're so lucky to have her in the Barn as well!

We've all been hard at work getting the Barn ready for a new year. We've given our common room gathering space a cozy (and colorful!) facelift, and upgraded our upstairs hangout spot with Japanese lanterns and magnetic poetry to keep the creative juices going after the school day ends. Over the next three days, 26 girls will be moving in, and the Barn will once again be filled with spirited laughter and friendship.

We've decided this year to keep a Barnie Blog, so that friends and family from near and far can stay connected to the CSW Community. Check back often for updates, or subscribe to the RSS feed to get automatic updates! We'll be sure to post info and pictures of Barnie events throughout the year.

Today, we had six returning students move into the dorm...Hyeon Jin, Hyun Soo, Da Hae, and Da Won were all helping out with the orientation for the new international students, and Rada and Jin are gearing up for their role as dorm leaders this year. Tonight, we all enjoyed a nice dinner at Bertucci's. And, as you can see above, Rada and Jin will be a "strong" dorm leader team this year! =)

Tomorrow, six girls who are new to CSW will be moving in, and we're looking forward to welcoming them to the Barn.
