Tuesday was election day here, and Jofia was the one registered student voter in the dorm! However, CSW had a mock election in which every student had the chance to vote. Then, interested Barnies gathered in the common room, doing homework while watching the election results roll in. It was suspenseful for a while, but by 11:00 Obama was declared the 44th president of the United States. No matter your opinion of Obama, it was a historical moment, and we were all excited to be a part of it...even though listening to the speeches kept us awake well past midnight! =)
